Live: Headcount for approval of 2024 budget

Parliament is considering the approval of the 2024 budget statement today Thursday, December 7, 2023.

The Minority are opposed to the approval of the budget because it contains several tax measures. In their view, the tax measures will deepen the economic conditions of Ghanaians.

The headcount became necessary after the speaker’s ruling that the ‘ayes have it’ during the voice votes last week was challenged by the Minority.
