Truck runs over traders at Anloga Junction in Kumasi

Some traders on the Angloga-Tech Junction stretch in Kumasi are feared dead after a truck run over them in the evening of Thursday, December 7, 2023.  

One of them has been confirmed dead.

The fully loaded truck was negotiating a curve at Anloga junction while heading towards Airport roundabout when it somersaulted.

Rescue team is currently on the ground to assist victims.

It is still not known how many people are trapped under the truck.

One person has been rescued, but severely injured.

The situation has currently created a gridlock on the main Accra-Kumasi stretch.

Eye witness, Ken Antwi, who spoke to  Akoma FM during ‘M’abato3′ with Evans Nkum said “many traders have been crashed.”
