Forson has yet to decide whether to sign the new contract, with the England youth international likely seeking assurances over game time following his limited role last season.
“Discussions remain open with Jonny Evans and Tom Heaton over potential new contracts while Omari Forson has formally been offered a new deal,” stated Manchester United on their official website.
Despite making only seven senior appearances for the club last season, Forson has been in sensational form for the youth team. He scored 15 goals and provided eight assists for the U23s, demonstrating his potential and prowess on the field.
His impressive performance extends to his time with the U18s, where he netted nine goals and delivered nine assists.
His future at Old Trafford remains uncertain as he weighs his options. Forson’s decision will likely hinge on the club’s willingness to offer him more first-team opportunities.
