Moderate to heavy rainstorm to hit Southern areas – Meteo Agency predicts

The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMA) has predicted the occurrence of a moderate to heavy rainstorm to affect most places in southern Ghana this afternoon June 14, 2024.

This is contained in a weather forecast published by the agency which said the heavy rainstorm will move to the southwestern part of the country later in the evening.

“A moderate to heavy rainstorm observed over the ocean is anticipated to propagate inland to affect most places in Southern Ghana,” the GMA predicted.

“The rainstorm is expected to affect the southeastern this afternoon and move to southwestern later in the evening,” the Agency said.

The rainstorm is also likely to trigger rain and thunder over the northern Ghana.

GMA noted that the storm is likely to be accompanied by gusty wind and lightning.
