President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Member of Parliament for Effutu, Alexander Afenyo-Markin as the new board Chairman of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

The Majority Leader replaces Herbert Krapa who is now the Minister of State at the Energy Ministry.

This was contained in a letter signed by the President’s Secretary Ambassador Nana Asante Bediatuo.
