Dreams FC continue to showcase their prowess in their CAF Confederation Cup debut with an impressive performance, securing a resounding 4-0 win against Angolan side Academica do Lobito at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Wednesday.

The Ghanaian FA Cup champions completed a double triumph over their opponents, having previously beaten them 3-2 in Luanda.

Agyenim Boateng initiated the scoring in the 35th minute, followed by an own goal that extended Dreams FC’s lead to 2-0. The team further solidified their dominance with a remarkable goal from teenage sensation Abdul Aziz Issah, who scored from the halfway line. Issah then contributed an assist for the fourth goal, sealing a comprehensive victory for Karim Zito’s squad.

With this win, Dreams FC have accumulated nine points, same as Club Africain after the Tunisians thrashed Rivers United. The Nigerians are third with six points while Academica do Lobito with no point have been eliminated.
