You won’t receive December salary before Christmas holidays – Parliamentary Service Officers told

Parliamentary Service Officers have been told that they will not be paid their December salary before Christmas.

The Director of Finance of Parliament, Daniel T. Chirawura stated that the service was yet “to receive Notification of Transfer of Salaries for December 2023.”

However the officers will be cushioned during the Christmas holidays, he said in a statement issued on Wednesday, December 20.

“The support will be made available to Officers before the House rises on 22 December 2023. The Service is grateful to Officers for their patience and understanding.”
