Former President John Dramani Mahama has told Ghanaians to be prepared to vote in this year’s general elections.

He urged Ghanaians not to lose hope because God had not given up on the country.

“God has not given up on Ghana… Do not lose hope… Get ready to VOTE in the 2024 elections”, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) said at a watch night service at the Sanctuary of Wind & Fire Assemblies of God Church in Tamale.

In a subsequent post on social media to mark the New Year, he said “By the grace and mercies of the almighty God, 2023 has ended, and we have entered 2024.

“Let us praise and thank our maker for protecting and preserving us.

“Together we shall build the Ghana we want, a prosperous and just Ghana filled with opportunities for all.
