Carlos Ahenkorah confident successor will improve party fortunes in Tema West Constituency

Incumbent member of Parliament for Tema west Carlos Ahenkorah says he is confident any of the two candidates contending for the seat after him will improve upon the party’s fortunes in the upcoming general elections.
He also used the moment to outline his legacy which will make it easy for the next aspirant to maintain the seat for the party’s strong hold.
He also recounted his actions in the house including the snatching of the ballot papers as in the interest of the party and country as a whole.
“I do not regret my actions, but I won’t do them again,” he said.
Eight hundred and eighty-four (884) out of 1,439 delegates expected to vote at the Tema West Constituency have of so far cast their votes to elect a parliamentary candidate.
The two-time incumbent MP Carlos Ahenkorah withdrew from the race, setting the pace for two new aspirants, Denis Amfo Sefah aka Nana B and Robert Richard Suapim.
The stakes are high for the two who appear to be strong contenders.
