Credit to private sector continues to remain weak – Governor Addison

Governor of the Bank of Gana (BoG) Dr Ernest Addison has said that credit to the private sector continues to remain weak.

Addressing the 118th Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) press conference in Accra on Monday, May 27, he stated that the sector contracted by 11.4 percent.

“Growth in the private sector continues to remain weak…it contracted by 11.4 percent,” he said.
