Fully loaded fuel tanker tumbles at Free Zones junction on the Tema-Dawhenya road

TV3’s correspondent, Komla Klutse has reported that a fuel tanker loaded with fuel has tumbled at the Free Zones junction on the Tema-Dawhenya road.

Details regarding the cause of the incident are sketchy at the moment.

According to him, the situation has resulted in huge traffic jam on that stretch of the road.

In a video made available, Police officers can been seen supervising efforts to turn the truck over.

The situation seems precarious due to the highly inflamable nature of fuel.

It is hoped that officials from the emergency services such as the Ghana National Service, National Ambulance Service and the Road Safety Authority will go to the scene and bring the situation under control.
