Ghana Card, Digital Address System : Namibia expresses desire to study Ghana’s blueprint – Bawumia

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Monday, November 27 welcomed to the Jubilee House, Ms Emma Theofelus, the Deputy Minister for Information, Communication & Technology of Namibia.
The discussion between the two of them centred on Ghana’s digitalization drive and its impact on the transformation of our country.
Ms Emma Theofelus commended Ghana on strides made, particularly, in issuing digital national identity card (Ghanacard), digital address system, mobile money interoperability, delivery of government services online, among others.
“Ms Emma Theofulus expressed Namibia’s desire to study Ghana’s blueprint,” Dr Bawumia tweeted after the meeting.
Ms. Emma Theofulus also commended Ghana’s globally acclaimed Year of Return, and December’s Beyond the Return tourism initiatives, stating that Namibia has also launched a similar programme dubbed, “November in Namibia”, to boost tourism.
