GNAT, NAGRAT and Coalition of Concerned Teachers on strike

Pre tertiary teacher unions, GNAT, NAGRAT and the Coalition of Concerned Teachers have declared a nationwide strike beginning today, March 20, 2024.
The unions are disturbed about the delay in negotiation of their conditions of service and also the decision by the Office of the Special Prosecutor to freeze salaries of some teachers.
President of GNAT Rev. Isaac Owusu announced the strike when he addressed a news conference on Wednesday.
