Haruna Iddrisu’s club to gain €7.9m if Fatawu Issahaku joins Leicester permanently

Ghanaian Division One side Steadfast FC will receive €7.9 million if Fatawu Issahaku joins Leicester City this summer.
Issahaku joined Leicester on a season-long loan from Sporting CP with an obligation to buy.
The Foxes could trigger the €17 million clause if the winger played 60% of games and they gained promotion.
With both conditions met, Leicester will try to purchase the Ghainaian although they are currently under a transfer embargo after breaking profit and sustainability rules in the 2022/23 season.

Once they pay €17 million for Issahaku, Steadfast is entitled to 50% of the value gained on the transfer according to Flashscore.
Since Sporting bought Issahaku in 2022 for €1.2 million, the value gained on the transfer will be €15.8 million which will be shared by Steadfast and the Portuguese club.
As a result, both Sporting and Steadfast will gain 7.9 million euros from the transfer.
Issahaku played a crucial role in the Foxes winning the Championship as he scored 6 goals and provided 13 assists.
Steadfast FC is owned by Ghanaian politician Haruna Iddrisu who is also the owner of Ghana Premier League club Karela United.
