I had a private marriage in 2019 and divorced in 2021 – Efia Odo

Socialite and actress, Andrea Owusu, popularly known as Efia Odo, has disclosed that she is a divorcee after getting married secretly in 2019.

In a new episode of the Rants, Bants and Confession podcast, Efia revealed that her private marriage only lasted for just two years and got divorced in 2021.

“I was married for two years. I got married in 2019 through to 2021. It was very private, but it’s done now. It didn’t work out. People knew about the marriage; family, and friends who were close to us,” she stated.

Asked why the marriage failed, she said, “he didn’t have money and he was cheating.”

Efia Odo, who now feels bad about settling for a man like that, claimed that at the time she was just infatuated and thought things would work out for him.

“That time, I was very naive and dumb. All I cared about was love. He didn’t have money but I was hoping things would get better. I was hoping it would work,” she established.

Nonetheless, Efia Odo said her current taste in men has changed. She added, “now I am only into wealthy people.”
