I never made a ‘diss’ song for Ayigbe Edem – Rapper Agbeko

Voltarian Rapper,  Bismark Agbeko Yankah widely known in showbiz as Agbeko has denied releasing any ‘diss’ song for his fellow Voltarian, Ayigbe Edem.

Agbeko who was once signed to Hammer The Last Two records asserted in an interview on 3FM Drive that he loves his fellow Voltarian and speaks good of him anywhere.

“I never made a diss song for Edem. Edem is like my blood. Big ups to him and the entire Last Two group and Hammer himself. I don’t have anything against Edem. I love Edem and say good things about him on the streets,” Agbeko noted on Wednesday, February 21.

The rapper who has been a long break from music for almost 20 years has attributed his ‘collapsed’ career to entanglement with drugs, spiritual attacks and association with bad friends.

Agbeko shied away from blaming his misfortunes on the music industry but said the cause of his downfall is his “personal stuff” to deal with.

When asked about what support can be offered to him, he said “I need management. I feel like I am not done with music” but admitted that he definitely must go through a rehabilitation stage to quit his substance abuse.

“I really need rehab to stay off the street. I am ready for change,” he added.

Agbeko also appreciated his former boss, Hammer The Last Two for not turning his back against him during his darkest moments.

The rapper explained that his association with wee-smoking ‘Ghettos’ always landed him in police cells but Hammer bailed anytime he reached out to him.

“Those ones are coincidental. Sometimes Hammer bails me. Props Two too, sometimes I find myself behind bars and I do not get anybody’s number in mind than Hammer so if I call him back and forth, he dey bail me. Sometimes, he does not show up but he sends somebody to bail me,” he noted on 3FM Drive.

“Sometimes I will be in the Ghetto smoking and when scatter happens, I’m arrested. It’s hard luck.”
