Interior Minister reviews curfew on Bawku

The Minister for the Interior Henry Quartey, has reviewed the curfew hours imposed on Bawku Municipality and its environs in the Upper East Region.

The curfew hours atrst from 𝟏𝟎:𝟎𝟎 𝐩𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝟒:𝟎𝟎 𝐚𝐦 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒.

In a statement, the government called on Chiefs, Elders, Opinion Leaders, Youth and people of the area to exercise restraint in the face of the challenges confronting them as well as to use non-violent means to channel their energies into ensuring peace.
