Manifestivities 2023 celebrates 50 years of Hip Hop

Ghana’s premier music festival, Manifestivities, is back and promises to be bigger and more exciting than ever before.

Powered by Hennessy, Manifestivities 2023 will present guests with the ultimate musical experience as we celebrate five decades of Hip Hop music and culture.

Set to take place on December 17, 2023, at the Untamed Empire on the Spintex Road in Accra, Manifestivities 2023 will take guests on a nostalgic journey through the roots of a culture that began in far away New York but whose branches extend deep into popular African music. From DJ sets to the live performances, guests will relive remarkable moments in Rap over the years.

The event will feature an impressive lineup of artists from across the World who have made significant contributions to Hip Hop, and represent various styles across the genre. From classic boom-bap to modern trap, Manifestivities 2023 will showcase the full spectrum of Hip Hop’s evolution.

M.anifest, Nigeria’s Show Dem Camp, LADIPOE, the Asakaa Boys, La Meme Gang and more will grace the main stage while the Hennessy Gen Next stage will have rap and dance battles as well as DJ showcases. There will also be a Hip Hop Art Exhibition dubbed ”The Culture: Beats, Rhymes, and Representation”
