Monetary Policy Committee keeps policy rate at 29%

The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Bank of Ghana (BoG) has kept the policy rate at 29 percent.

Addressing the 118th MPC press conference the Governor of the Bank of Ghana said that the effort to reduce global inflation has stalled due to increased crude oil prices central banks have been mostly cautious about losing the monetary policy stance

The committee decided to maintain the policy rate at 29 percent.
