Ghana is gearing up for a musical extravaganza as “Party on the Field” prepares to launch, showcasing the best of Amapiano and Afrobeats.

This vibrant festival aims to celebrate African sound and culture globally, offering an inclusive vacation experience with live performances and DJ sets featuring influential Amapiano and Afrobeats artists.

Organizers envision a scintillating blend of music, food, art, and culture, with the festival serving as a catalyst for tourism and investments in the sub-region. Building on the success of the “Year of Return, Ghana 2019,” which invited the Global African family to commemorate 400 years since the arrival of the first enslaved Africans in Jamestown, Virginia, “Party on the Field” seeks to attract a diverse audience, fostering intra-African tourism and unlocking opportunities on the continent.

The inaugural edition of the festival will kick off in Ghana, with plans for subsequent editions in other African countries. The event aims to bridge gaps in African interactions, promoting unity and cultural exchange. Attendees can anticipate not only a lineup of Amapiano and Afro-beats sensations but also a showcase of local African cuisine, art, and culture, including sculpture, painting, pottery, jewellery, masks, and textiles.

“Party on the Field” will shine a spotlight on both Anglophone and Francophone cultures, emphasizing the richness and diversity of Africa’s cultural heritage. With the fast-growing popularity of Amapiano and Afro-beats globally, this festival promises to be a dynamic celebration of African music and culture that transcends borders.
