Photos: 3rd African Media Convention ends in Accra

The 3rd African Media Convention, which started on May 15 has ended in Accra on May 17, 2024.

It was under the theme: “The African Media We Want: Enhancing Freedom, Innovation, and Sustainability in a Dynamic Media Landscape”.

The over 2,000 participants were drawn from across Africa. They are made up of journalists, policymakers, Ministers of State, researchers and academics.

The meeting, which was hosted by the Ghana Journalists Association with support from the Government of Ghana and UNESCO had President Akufo-Addo, the Chief of Staff, Frema Osei Opare and the Minister designate for Information, Fatimatu Abubakar taking turns to address participants.
