Real Madrid: Champions League history makers eye more glory in UCL final

Real Madrid have once again secured a spot in the UEFA Champions League final, narrowly defeating Bayern Munich 4-3 on aggregate at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
As they prepare to face Borussia Dortmund in the final, several players in Madrid’s squad, including Toni Kroos, Lucas Vasquez, Luka Modric, and Dani Carvajal, are aiming to add another title to their already impressive tally of five Champions League trophies.
Under Carlo Ancelotti’s leadership, Real Madrid are poised to claim their third title of the season, having previously clinched victory in the Spanish Super Cup and La Liga.
It is expected to be an enthralling encounter on June 1 at Wembley against Borussia Dortmund.
Madrid’s squad is a full blend of experience and youth. For the likes of Vinicius Jr, Rodrigo, Thibaut Courtois, Federico Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga, a second European title in Spain looks inevitable, as they look to increase the number of titles in their fold moving forward. Kepa Arrizabalaga could also clinch his second title after winning it with Chelsea in 2021.

A name that will be remembered this season for Los Blancos is Joselu Mato. Joselu joined Real Madrid on loan from Spanish second division side Espanyol and has gone on to score five goals, with a brace over Bayern in the semi-final to complete a comeback for Los Blancos. A year ago, he featured for Espanyol and was their top La Liga goal scorer. This year, he could be crowned champion of Europe.
Aurelian Tchouameni will also be looking to win his first Champions League title, as Real Madrid are unbeaten in all matches they had the French midfielder start in this campaign. 31 games, 25 wins, six draws.

Also, summer signing Jude Bellingham is on course to win his first Champions League title. He will face his former side Dortmund in the final but will be confident, knowing Real Madrid are the record winners of Europe’s premium club competition.
Toni Kroos is now the first player to reach seven Champions League finals since the new European format, and could also become the player with the most titles alongside Modric, Vasquez and Carvajal if Real win a record 15 titles.
The Whites of Spain have proven to be resilient under Carlo Ancelotti this season, and have one term echoing throughout their city, APORLA15.
