President Nana Akufo-Addo has called on the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana to work continuously with the various political parties going into the December 7 elections.

“Government on its part will do what is expected of it to make sure that the reputation of Ghana is not damaged,” said President Akufo-Addo while addressing the nation on the floor of parliament.

According to the President, the government will ensure that the people’s free will is “manifested at the end of every electoral process”.

President Akufo-Addo further reiterated his resolve to ensure the country goes through a peaceful election on December 7, 2024.

“I want to reassure the good people of Ghana and I will do everything in my power to help ensure the conduct of transparent free and fair elections on 7th December”, he stated.
