US-based Ghanaian lady allegedly killed by boyfriend who pushed her in front of oncoming vehicle

A US-based Ghanaian lady, Brittany Boateng has died after his boyfriend allegedly pushed her in front of an oncoming vehicle.

The tragic incident occurred on February 23, 2024 at Chicago Illinois. Brittany, 29, was reported to have had an intense altercation with her boyfriend who allegedly got furious and reported to have pushed her into the path of an oncoming vehicle leading to her death.

According to reports, Brittany’s boyfriend had since been arrested by the Chicago Police and investigations are underway.

The sad news was posted on X by EDHUB who attached an obituary confirming the death of Brittany in Chicago and details about the funeral arrangements.

Brittany’s death adds up to the few stories of other Ghanaians in the diaspora who have been killed.

Just last month, a 39 year old Ghanaian father was shot dead in Toronto, Canada in a random shooting incident while waiting at a bus stop.

Adu Boakye was a father of four children and had traveled to Canada not long ago.
