Voting ongoing smoothly in Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira Constituency

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries in the Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira Constituency is going on smoothly with massive patronage and enthusiasm.

The polls started around 07:00 hours and as of 09:58 hours, 410 out of 452 expected delegates had already cast their ballots.

The contest is a two-horse race between Mr Bright Wireko-Brobby, the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) and Deputy Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, and Mr Lawrence Agyinsam, the CEO of EXIM Bank.

The exercise has been incident-free so far under heavy security presence.
