VRA and NADMO officials engage North Tongu residents over possible Akosombo dam spillage

Officials of the Volta River Authority (VRA) and National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) have started a 10-day engagement programme with members of communities likely to be affected in the event of spilling excess water from the Akosombo Dam.
The officials from VRA, led by the Director-General are currently in the North Tongu District engaging with the community members.
The engagement is expected to continue in other districts in the coming days.
